HRD CORP CLAIMABLE COURSES

HRD Corp Claimable Courses is a dedicated programme designed to assist employers in retraining and upskilling their employees in line with their operational and business requirements.

HRD Corp Support*:

  • Funding for in-house or public training for a minimum duration of four (4) hours
  • Other claimable costs such as:
    • Meal allowance
    • Daily Allowance
    • Consumable Training Materials
    • Hotel Rental Package OR Training Rental Place
    • Airfare Ticket OR Transportation

*HRD Corp may request other relevant documents deemed necessary for verification or confirmation purposes.

APPLICATION PROCESS

Application via e-TRiS

Documents Required :

  • Quotation / Invoice
  • Training Schedule / Course Content
  • Trainer Profile

Documents Required :

  • Itinerary (airfare) – if any
  • Receipt & Invoice (transportation) – if any
  • The employer does not require paying the training fees to the training provider to reduce the employer’s burden
  • Certification program or mandatory Industrial Base : Unlimited number of trainees and fees.

  • Application must be submitted by employers before training date commencement
  •  
  • In-house Training 

    • Effective 15 June 2026, In-house training programmes can be conducted 14 days after grant approval 
    • The approved training programme must commence within 90 calendar days after the completion of the 14-day advance approval requirement.  
    • Training claims must be submitted within six (6) months from the completion date of the training programme.  

     

    Public Training  

    • Public training programmes can be conducted three (3) days after grant approval, applicable from 15 June to 31 December 2026 
    • The approved training programme must commence within 90 calendar days after the completion of the 3-day advance approval requirement.  
    • Training claims must be submitted within six (6) months from the completion date of the training programme.   
    • From 1 January 2027, the requirement returns to the 14-day rule, aligning with in-house training programmes.
