Kuala Lumpur, 28 September 2022 — Human Resource Development Corporation (HRD Corp)
has announced thatits prestigious and much-awaited human capital conference is back after
a two-year hiatus. The details were unveiled at a media announcement officiated by the
Minister of Human Resources, YAB Datuk Seri M. Saravanan, today.
Formerly known as the HRDF Conference & Exhibition, the conference has been HRD Corp’s
annual flagship event since 2001. Now in its 19th iteration, it has been rebranded to the
National Human Capital Conference & Exhibition (NHCCE) 2022 and is set to take place on the
8 & 9 November 2022 at the Malaysia International Trade & Exhibition Centre (MITEC), Kuala
Lumpur.
Themed
HR 5.0: The Next Evolution in Human Resource Development, it will feature six (6)
Plenary Tracks that aim to equip leaders, industry players, senior management, HR
practitioners, and working professionals with the skills and knowledge to champion the
implementation of human capital transformation initiatives in their respective organisations.
It will also feature 30 renowned local and international speakers and subject matter experts,
as well as over 200 exhibitors from various industries. The conference itself is expected to
draw over 2,000 delegates from Malaysia and the region.
Speaking at the media announcement, Datuk Seri M. Saravanan said “HR will be the driving
force of the future of work and the nation’s economic progress. To that end, the government
is committed to ensuring that our workforce and talents are effectively nurtured and
developed. This must be supported by businesses and industries. The NHCCE 2022 will be a
great platform to spark important conversations on what we can do together in order to drive
workplace leadership, innovation and transformation. It will also enable Malaysian industry
players and leaders to network, share challenges and discuss solutions to their current and
future HR challenges.”
Datuk Seri M. Saravanan also announced thatHRDCorp will also be organising the HRD Awards
2022 Gala Dinner in conjunction with the NHCCE 2022. The Awards is an annual event that
recognises excellence human resources development at the organisational and national level.
The awards submission started in April 2022 and winners will be announced at the Gala
Dinner.
The awards include the HRD Corp Award for the Small and Medium Enterprise, and HRD Corp
Award for Large Enterprise across the Manufacturing, Service and Mining & Quarrying
Sectors. One lucky winner will also walk away with the much-coveted Human Resources
Minister Award.
The NHCCE 2022 is now open for delegate registration. Price starts at RM200 for the student
pass, RM1,350 for the group pass (with a minimum of 3 participants), RM1,400 for
government employee pass and RM1,500 for the standard pass.
