ABOUT THE CENTRE

Established on 16 October 2022 in Tapah, the Training and Community Development Centre (PLPK) HRD Corp Perak, aims to support the local community through a wide range of learning, skills development programmes and socioeconomic initiatives.

The centre is part of HRD Corp’s initiatives to empower the local people of Perak, especially the Orang Asli community, while raising the bar for Malaysia’s human capital development efforts. Through this effort, the Perak community too can contribute to nation-building.

Act as a one-stop centre for community development activities, with a particular emphasis on socio-economic initiatives and skills training enhancement. In addition, it implements research and skills gap analysis activities to obtain data on the local community needs, which can be met through targeted programmes and activities.
