Recognised as Malaysia’s paramount honour in the realm of human resources (HR), the Human Resource Development Awards (HRD Awards) returns to celebrate the epitome of human resource advancement. This year commemorates the illustrious 20th anniversary of the HRD Awards.

HRD Corp recognises and celebrates employers whose notable contributions have significantly advanced human capital development in Malaysia.

Large Enterprises*
*for the Manufacturing, Services, Agriculture, Construction, and Mining & Quarrying Sectors
The HRD Awards serve as a symbol of excellence, recognising outstanding achievements in human capital development. Recipients of these awards serve as role models, inspiring their peers and driving transformative change in the field of human resources in Malaysia.
The winners will be announced at the HRD Awards Gala Dinner, tentatively taking place on 2 October 2024.
The Awards
HUMAN RESOURCES MINISTER AWARD
Awarded to the top employer nationwide who has achieved the highest level of excellence in human capital and learning development, as reflected by their highest score in the HRD Corp Award.
HRD CORP AWARD
Awarded to the employers who have shown outstanding efforts in human capital and learning development at the regional level – Central, Northern, Southern, East Coast, Sabah, and Sarawak.
Awarded to the employer with diverse HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations and compliance, while also highlighting their contributions to organisational objectives and ensuring workforce management and compliance.
EXCELLENCE IN TALENT MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP AWARD
Awarded to the employer with a holistic talent development at all organisational levels with immediate adaptability to changing dynamics and continuous learning for all employees.
EXCELLENCE IN LEARNING TECH ADVANCEMENT SYSTEM AWARD
Awarded to the employer who has effectively integrated digital technology into their learning solutions, enhancing efficiency, productivity, and training culture within the organisation.
Awarded to the employer with a commitment to recruiting and developing top graduate talent who have yet to be employed, resulting in improved organisational performance and success.
Awarded to the organisation that actively implements HRD Corp focus area programmes that align with business objectives and enhance its bottom line. Judges assess the design, creation, and implementation of the HRD Corp focus area programmes that have effectively contributed to the organisation.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE?

Submit your complete proposal by 15 July 2024 at 5.30 PM
We invite all eligible registered employers to submit their entries via email.
Online Briefing Session
A virtual briefing session will be held for all interested eligible employers who wish to participate.
Entry Submission
Eligible employers are required to submit their entries using the Nomination Form by 8 September 2023, 5:30 PM.
Entry Verification and Shortlisting
The internal evaluation panel will verify entries and create a list of shortlisted submissions.
Judging and Business Premise Visits
The external evaluation panel, comprising HR leaders and industry captains, will evaluate shortlisted submissions and conduct visits to the business premises.
Shortlisted Nominees Selection
The external evaluation panel will select and confirm the shortlisted nominees.
Notification to Shortlisted Nominees
All shortlisted nominees will receive email notifications and invitations to the HRD Awards ceremony.
Winner Announcement
Announcement of winners at the HRD Awards Ceremony.

Submissions are open from Thursday, 10 August 2023, at 12:00 pm.
Submissions should utilise the online Nomination Form and include the following essential elements:
Complete written proposal
Relevant supporting documents
Using the Nomination Form, the submission deadline is Friday, 8 September 2023, at 5:30 pm

There are no fees associated with submissions, and no charges will be applied at any stage of the submission, evaluation, selection, or finalist announcement phases.
