WHAT IT IS
An initiative designed to empower senior citizens and retirees with relevant upskilling and reskilling opportunities.
This initiative aims to provide the skills and knowledge for retirees who want to re-enter the workforce in a different sector or capacity as well as senior citizens who are interested in pursuing employment or income generation opportunities.
WHO IS IT FOR
Malaysian senior citizens and retirees aged 60 years old and above.
Second Chances and Opportunities for People to Excel (SCOPE) – To empower ex-prisoners with essential skills training to facilitate their successful reintegration into society
WHAT IT IS
An initiative designed to empower formerly incarcerated individuals by providing them with practical skills and vocational training in a supportive and rehabilitative environment.
This initiative aims to facilitate their successful reintegration into society through employment and income-generating opportunities that foster positive long term personal growth.
Persons with Disabilities (PWD) – Focuses on the unique needs and abilities of persons with disabilities (PWDs), offering customized competency-based training
WHAT IT IS
An initiative designed to empower persons with disabilities (PWDs) with essential skills through competency-based trainings and certifications.
This initiative aims to facilitate the acceptance of PWDs into the workplace while improving their integration into society through employment or income-generating opportunities.
This initiative aims to enhance workforce sustainability, reduce turnover rates and increase business resiliency. This is important as we strive to improve the competitiveness of Malaysia’s micro-SMEs in the global market.

Proposal submission is based on a first come, first served basis.
The first phase of the Call For Proposals submission is open from 12 January 2024 to 24 February 2024.

ABOUT PROGRAM LATIHAN MADANI
Program Latihan Madani (PLM) is an initiative aimed at empowering the country’s micro-SMEs and communities in need through training and development opportunities. The programme, announced by the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Yang Amat Berhormat Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, as part of Budget 2024, seeks to expand access to training and development for employees within micro-SMEs, persons with disabilities (PWDs), senior citizens, retirees, current and formerly incarcerated persons and B40 communities.
As the custodian of Malaysia’s human capital development efforts, HRD Corp is honoured to be entrusted with this mandate by the YAB Prime Minister. We are committed to strengthening the learning and development ecosystem for all Malaysians in line with our aspiration to invigorate essential skills, broaden critical knowledge and build an inclusive and cohesive society.
