FUTURE WORKERS TRAINING (FWT)
This scheme aims to prepare for the readiness of future workers and ensure they can perform the tasks under minimum supervision after training.
TARGET GROUP OF PARTICIPANTS
Unemployed individuals aged 18 and above – compulsory to be employed upon the completion of the training.
HRD Corp Support:
In-house Training
- • Internal Trainer’s Allowance up to RM1,000/day/group
- External Trainer’s Allowance up to RM6,000/day/group or RM8,000/day/group for focus area
- If there are 5 trainees or less the Internal or External Trainer fee rate will be RM25/trainee/hour
- Monthly Allowance for Trainee(s) at RM1,000/month/trainee
- Other claimable cost that includes meal and daily allowance
- Seminars/conferences (physical and ROT) for Oversea training is not permitted
- For Remote Online Training (follow ACM)
For a minimum of 2 trainees and a maximum of 40 trainees.
Public
- Follow as per current Allowable Cost Matrix (ACM) for public training type.
- Monthly Allowance for Trainee(s) at RM1,000/month/trainee
For a minimum of 2 trainees and a maximum of 40 trainees.

Effective 1st August 2019, training programmes must commence within six (6) months from the date of training grant applications are made and training claim submissions must be made not more than six (6) months from the date the training programmes are completed.
